Robyn Velardo and Betsy Joseph Named 2026 Working Parents and Caregivers of the Year by Seramount
Zoetis has been recognized by Seramount as one of its 2026 100 Best Companies for the 13th year in a row.
Seramount’s 100 Best Companies recognition highlights organizations that help employees integrate work and home life through family-friendly benefits, with an emphasis on paid parental leave, child and dependent care, caregiving leave, and mental health support.
This year, we are proud to celebrate two remarkable colleagues recognized on the Seramount list: Betsy Joseph, Caregiver of the Year, and Robyn Velardo, Working Parent of the Year.
Betsy Joseph, Zoetis Chief Compliance Officer, has spent 16 years at the company and continues to lead with resilience through significant personal and professional responsibilities. In addition to her leadership at Zoetis, Betsy supported her husband through a serious, prolonged illness while raising four children. Her unwavering dedication to her family, colleagues, and leadership role exemplifies the spirit of the Caregiver of the Year recognition.
“Being recognized as a Caregiver of the Year is deeply meaningful because caregiving has taught me that strength often looks like showing up, adapting, and continuing to support the people who count on you. I’m grateful to work at Zoetis, where compassion and humanity are part of the way we lead.”

Betsy’s unwavering dedication to her family, colleagues, and leadership role exemplifies the spirit of the Caregiver of the Year recognition. Her resilience and ability to balance caregiving, family commitments, and professional responsibilities continue to inspire those around her.
Robyn Velardo is Senior Director, Enterprise & Transformation Communications and serves as Chief of Staff to Zoetis Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Chief Sustainability Officer. Outside of work, Robyn and her husband, Joseph, have advocated for their son, Noah, who has learning differences, while raising their daughter, Adelaide. That experience has shaped Robyn’s empathetic, flexible, and human-centered approach to leadership.
“Being recognized as a Working Parent of the Year is an honor because it reflects the importance of advocacy, empathy, and support both at home and at work. Zoetis is an employer of choice when people are trusted to lead as whole people and supported through the realities of life.”
