The Zoetis team in Australia recently launched a campaign to help customers achieve their best mental health. In Australia, suicide rates are almost double in rural communities than they are in major cities, and many of the individuals lost to suicide, up to eight per day, are from the farming community.

At Zoetis, customer obsession is one of our Core Beliefs. We know that when our customers succeed, we succeed. We understand that the mental health of our customers is an important enabler to their success and well-being.
Raising Awareness and Funds with beyondblue
Zoetis in Australia became a Supporting Partner of beyondblue, an organization that raises awareness for anxiety, depression and suicide prevention and works to reduce the associated stigma.
The partnership included a campaign that raised awareness and funds for beyondblue. For every Zoetis cattle or sheep vaccine sold by Zoetis from Aug. 1 – Oct. 30, 2016, the company donated $5 to beyondblue for a total of $100,000 in donations.
Sharing passion for advancing mental health, Zoetis customers and colleagues participated in the campaign through reseller competitions and colleague fundraising events.
“Through our travels to serve our customers in the remote areas of Australia, we have seen the devastating effects that mental illness can have on rural communities,” said Lance Williams, general manager, Zoetis Australia and New Zealand. “Zoetis is passionate about supporting hard-working Australians and this campaign raised much-needed funds and awareness for mental health in our community.”
Global Commitment to Veterinary Wellness
Zoetis is working to serve customers globally in the area of mental wellness. We recently announced the addition of seven new personal wellness modules to VETVANCE, our free, web-based learning resource for the veterinary community as part of our ongoing Commitment to VeterinariansTM platform.
