Zoetis Executive Team members join GMS and VMRD colleagues for ribbon cutting ceremony 

Zoetis marked the opening of an expansion at our global manufacturing and supply site in Kalamazoo, MI, this week with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday. The expansion includes a new formulation area, two packaging lines, a pilot plant and related operations to manufacture oral tablet and palatable medicines for companion animals, or oral solid dose products. The new lines are currently manufacturing Apoquel® (oclacitinib tablet), Zoetis’ largest product by revenue.

“This was a big day for our site, our colleagues and our community as we celebrated the opening of our oral solid dose facility,” said Mark Widman, GMS Site Leader Kalamazoo. “We are grateful for the support and guidance of the ZET, GMS LT and VMRD LT today and throughout the project. Our success is a testament to the talented and dedicated colleagues in Kalamazoo who make the difference for our site and Zoetis every day.”

The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by Zoetis colleagues and members of the Zoetis executive team, including Juan Ramón Alaix, Chief Executive Officer, Glenn David, Chief Financial Officer, Cathy Knupp, Executive Vice President and President, R&D, Andrew Fenton, Executive Vice President Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Roxanne Lagano, Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer and Communications, Kristin Peck, Executive Vice President and President, U.S. Operations, Business Development and Strategy and Roman Trawicki, Executive Vice President and President, Global Manufacturing and Supply.

“Our colleagues in Kalamazoo are central to our ability to deliver high-quality, reliable supply of many of our largest and most in demand products for customers around the world,” said Roman Trawicki. “I’m proud of the Kalamazoo team for delivering the project ahead of schedule while keeping focused on the site’s objectives and core operations.”
