Abhay Nayak

Abhay Nayak is Executive Vice President and President, U.S. Commercial Operations for Zoetis, the world’s leading animal health company and a member of the Fortune 500. In this role, he leads the company’s U.S. commercial operations and serves on the Zoetis Executive Team, driving growth and innovation across franchises and delivering exceptional products and services for companion animal and livestock customers. 

Most recently, Mr. Nayak served as the President of Global Diagnostics from 2022 to 2026, where he brought together product management, commercial development, customer service, sales, and marketing to drive greater alignment and a best-in-class customer experience. Under his leadership, Global Diagnostics delivered double-digit growth across much of its portfolio and in most markets, while advancing innovation and expanding reference lab capabilities. 

Mr. Nayak has played a critical leadership role since joining Zoetis in 2018. As Head of Corporate Strategy, he led several key acquisitions and shifted the enterprise to focus on pet owners and direct-to-consumer advertising with an enhanced focus on digital innovation and emerging markets. As EVP, Strategy, Accelerated Growth Businesses and Commercial Development, he led the company’s global enterprise-wide strategy, commercial development, and sustainability organizations. 

Prior to joining Zoetis, Mr. Nayak served as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he advised leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies on pricing, marketing, and global growth strategies. He also initiated and co-led the partnerships and alliances service line of the firm’s pharmaceuticals and medical devices practice. Mr. Nayak began his career at Barclays, where he held the role of Assistant Vice President of Investment Banking. He advised private equity clients on M&A, restructuring and financing transactions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. 

Mr. Nayak holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
