Zoetis Honored with Three Awards from the Public Relations Society of America

On May 22, Zoetis and its agency partner Ketchum Public Relations won three top honors from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) New York Chapter at its Big Apple Awards Gala in New York City.  Zoetis was recognized for excellence in communications in support of its initial public offering (IPO) on February 1, 2013 and the launch of Zoetis as an independent, publicly-traded animal health company. Zoetis was recognized by the PRSA across three categories: Best Investor Relations Campaign, Best Global Communications Campaign and Best Use of Research, Evaluation and Measurement. Zoetis also won an Honorable Mention in the Marketing Business-to-Business Campaign category.

In awarding Zoetis with the “Apple” for research, measurement and evaluation, Frank Ovaitt, President and CEO, Institute of Public Relations, said Zoetis made optimal use of research, measuring the impact of communications to advance business objectives at every step along the journey from IPO through year one of the newly independent company. 

“Research to accurately understand customer, stakeholder and colleague perceptions of Zoetis was and continues to be essential to shaping a strong and favorable reputation for Zoetis, continued Forrest. “It is through research that we can better understand and address the real-world challenges faced by those who raise and care for animals. It is rewarding to be honored for our commitment to research-driven communication and measurable results.”
