Stefan Weiskopf was appointed executive vice president and area president of the Asia Pacific region at Zoetis (formerly Pfizer Animal Health) in October 2012. In this role, he oversees key markets in Asia, covering the geography from Japan to Australia and from New Zealand to India.

Before joining Zoetis, Stefan served as area president of the Asia Pacific region in the Pfizer Animal Health organization, a position he held since 2007.  He was previously responsible for the company’s operations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Stefan joined Pfizer Animal Health in Germany in 1986. He gained experience in various roles in sales, technical, marketing and general management for Pfizer and two of the company’s subsidiaries, Upjohn and Pharmacia. 

Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, Stefan practiced veterinary medicine. He obtained his veterinary and business degrees in Germany.
