We at Zoetis see it as our responsibility to help provide opportunities for veterinary professionals and students to learn.

Through the Zoetis Veterinary Student Scholarship Program, Zoetis, in partnership with the the Association of American Veterinary Colleges, awards scholarships to U.S. veterinary students annually to help offset the cost of education. Since 2010, nearly $6 million in scholarship funding has been awarded to more than 2,700 exceptional veterinary students.

Chinese Veterinary Medical Association Scholarships – Zoetis, in partnership with the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association, has provided educational support for more than 2,000 veterinarians and veterinary students. Zoetis has supported scholarships for veterinary students enrolled in veterinary schools and colleges since 2006 and is proud to continue this initiative to help build a vibrant veterinary profession in mainland China.

African Research and Scholarship Awards – Zoetis, in partnership with the African Small Companion Animal Network (AFSCAN), awards funding to academic faculty and students in the veterinary field to help advance research in small companion animals in sub-Saharan Africa.

Continuing Education

VETVANCE® is a free educational resource sponsored by Zoetis in the United States. It provides students and recent graduates with online content relating to professional development, business skills, personal wellness, financial literacy, professional stewardship, and much more.

The program includes web-based video Wellness Modules, part of Zoetis’ ongoing Commitment to Veterinarians™ platform, in response to the growing body of evidence that veterinary professionals worldwide experience mental illness, depression, and suicidal tendencies at a significantly higher rate than the general population. The program also offers scholarships and externships as well as the opportunity to connect with others in the veterinary profession.

Zoetis Academy in China - Zoetis Academy offers training courses in China to help improve the health and productivity of livestock. Our Zoetis team of 50 veterinary technical experts has trained more than 10,000 livestock farmers and 2,000 veterinary professionals.

Industry Support Program - This program supports youth in agriculture in the United States through training and education in partnership with veterinarians, resellers and local FFA (formerly Future Farmers of America) chapters and their advisors. Zoetis and its customers together have raised more than $4.7 million since 2008 to benefit students through FFA.
